✄ It isn’t very often that Ryan becomes nervous. As a grunt, he is trained to be able to take on any situation with courage and bravery. The emotions of anxiety and fear or nervousness are ignored when you put on that uniform. Although, girls have always made Ryan a bit nervous. When actually nervous, Ryan tends to apologize a lot or bite onto his lower lip. Before he enlisted, he was a nervous wreck all the time and would constantly have scaring on his bottom lip because he would bite on it so much.
Rylie groaned, her eyes still slightly shut as she rose from her sleeping bag. “The hell d'ya want?" She spoke into the abyss, still groggy. When there was no response, The soldier quickly became worried. Her hand gripped around her Beretta as she tensed. "If ya ain’t gon’ speak up, i'ma just have'ta shoot ya!”
Okay, listen up. I just finished my cahsee testing and now I am getting ready for my finals. I have a lot of shit to catch up on before the end of my sophomore year. That being said, my activity will suffer for the simple fact that school is more important than role playing(no matter how many times I try and convince myself otherwise. xD) Just because I said my activity will suffer, does not mean that I will be going on a hiatus. I will still be here role playing and stuff. My activity will just be at its all time low. Anyways, I hope y'all stick with Ryan & I! At the beginning of June is when my summer will begin, so expect to see plenty of Ryan and I! <3

Old age was something of a luxury for those who lived normal lives. Those who built families, companies, home’s. All he ever built up in his life was the amount of men in Gen pop. He found himself staring at the black screen of a flat screen television that hung on the wall across from the hospital bed he now lied in wondering what his life would have been like had he followed Winona to Florida all those years ago.
And how maybe he would have had more time with his daughter, enjoying her as she grew.
There were many things in his life he would change now looking back on them if he could. It was too late for that now. He was old and grey, and the last he had heard of his daughter she was a big time Lawyer in Miami. He was proud of his girl, he was proud of everyone he watched over in one way or another during his life time, even if he hadn’t been there physically for them, he had always been there watching.
He had nothing to give, nothing but the clothes on his back and a lifetime of family ruin in Harlan. All he could give to those who meant anything to him were his last goodbye’s in the form of a message. He had made separate video’s for each of them. Winona, their daughter, Loretta, and one man in particular he thought of like a son.He had met Ryan during his time spent in the Marines, only months before his plans to leave for Georgia and instantly saw potential in him. He was rough on him, but only to push him further, advancing him to be the man he could be and eventually, even a close relationship grew between the two of them, viewing Ryan as a younger version of himself, as well as a son he would hope to one day have. Even after they had parted Ryan had made his way to Harlan, falling in deep with the wrong people and Raylan was there to pull him out as he had for Loretta.
“I don’t have much to leave“ His voice was as shaky as the hands that held the tape. "but I wanted t’say my goodbye’s before my life ended here, knowin’ you’re probably out gettin’ yourself in to trouble, or by some miracle you’ve got yourself a wife and children-keepin’ them happy and healthy.
You’re a good man Ryan. I looked at you as the son I never had, I ain’t so good with words, so I leave you with something very special t’me. The only thing t’stick by me through thick and thin and that’s my Stetson. It’s yours now, you keep care of it. You keep care a’yourself.—

Opinion on;
Character in general: Ryan seems like an interesting character. I love a good well thought out OC :)
How they play them: There seems to be a lot of research/knowledge of skills/behaviours in Ryan’s characterisation and I enjoy the fluid combination of actions & dialogue especially in some of the longer pieces of writing.
